Once upon a time, long, long ago we used to be able to tune in to CNN any time of the day and see the US and world news. Now when you tune in to CNN and many other news casts, all you see is lies, hate-filled anti-trump rhetoric and fake news.
I have been baffled since Donald Trump won the election. Why have many become so upset and unhinged? I have come to the conclusion the media is largely to blame. Since the day Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy, the media has been misleading the American people by assuring them Hillary was going to win the election. They told many lies about Donald Trump and his family, they hid the number of people attending the Trump rallies and they never said a negative word about Hillary. The people truly believed she would win the election.
I remember asking a dear friend why people believed all the media lies. I will never forget her answer. She said, “People are sheep and they will blindly follow the herd.” I remember thinking why don’t they grow a brain and think for themselves?
Here is the serious error they made. More of the American people have a brain then are sheep. They saw through all the lies and deceptions and voted for Donald Trump. Try as they might, the more the media bashes President Trump, the more people have been changing from sheep to people with self-thinking brains.
The media has become a left-leaning joke. They have lost all credibility and the American people no longer trust them. Although everyone has the right to their opinions, I feel the media’s job is to report the news; not ram their opinions down our throats or twist it to fit their narrative. I am quite capable of deciphering the truth when the truth is told – that isn’t the case here. The media is doing everything they can to destroy President Trump and his entire family.
After the last election, I can’t believe the media continues to underestimate the American people. I have never been prouder to be an American citizen. We will not let the corrupt media and politicians continue the bias and lawlessness. The media is going to be the loser here.
What a sad day it is since the death of journalism. Rest in peace journalism. Until you remember how to do your job, President Trump will continue to reach his supporters via Twitter.
