Senator John McCain plans to return to the Senate, which will give Senate Republicans a full delegation of 52 votes.

McCain just finished his first round of chemotherapy for an aggressive form of brain cancer referred to as glioblastoma.

Don’t cheer him on yet. You may not be happy with what his plans are.

McCain, the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, is expected to play a crucial role in the National Defense Authorization Act. The bill could include an amendment reversing President Donald Trump’s order barring all transgender individuals from serving in the armed services.

McCain has made clear of his opposition to the directive and referred to it as “a step in the wrong direction.”

McCain has criticized Trump and voted against measures in Congress that were supported by the president.

The Senate is returning from its recess and it will have many items on its agenda. Votes to ensure the federal government remains funded past Sept. 30 and to raise the debt ceiling are top priorities.

We all remember the dramatic moment when McCain voted against so-called “skinny repeal” health care bill in July right after brain surgery to remove a clot. That bill would have repealed parts of Obamacare.

President Trump’s pardoning of former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, was adamantly criticized by the Arizona Senator.

McCain is doing his best to get down on President Trump. I believe he should stay home and try to recover from the brain tumor that, in my humble opinion, could be causing him not to think clearly. Why does a Republican Senator come to work when he is gravely ill? To try to destroy his president?

You can hide outer scars with good makeup but you can’t hide the inner scars of detestation that live in your being and compel you to do wrong. I really don’t want to think or write evil or bad thoughts about McCain and his illness, so, I will stop here.
