by Daveda Gruber:

President Trump has a name for Democratic senator, “Sneaky Dianne Feinstein.”

Wednesday, after she released the transcript of a congressional interview with the co-founder of the firm behind the anti-Trump dossier, she claimed the move was “possibly” illegal.

Feinstein, D-California, is the ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee. She unilaterally released the transcript, which is 312 page, of Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson’s August interview with committee investigators.

Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, criticized Feinstein’s move as “confounding.” Spokesman Taylor Foy said she made the decision without consulting the chairman.

This also warned that the move jeopardized other highly sought witness testimony.

Feinstein faces reelection this year. She said she released the transcript because, “The American people deserve the opportunity to see what he said and judge for themselves.”

Moments after later, President Trump returned to bashing the ongoing Russia investigation through tweets.

The president’s lawyers are in preparation for the possibility that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team will ask to conduct an interview with Trump.

Although there has been no official request by Mueller’s office to interview the president on the Russia probe, it becomes possible that an interview will not take place.

Feinstein’s release of the testimony did draw attention back to Russia. The hundreds of pages of Simpson’s responses are filled with disclosure about Fusion GPS, their work and their investigation into Trump.

One passage drew heavy attention. Simpson’s lawyer claimed someone had been killed over the dossier’s publication.

On August 22, Simpson’s attorney Josh Levy said “He wants to be very careful to protect his sources.” Somebody’s already been killed as a result of the publication of this dossier and no harm should come to anybody related to this honest work.”

No  elaboration was made on who was killed. Congressional investigators did not follow up with any questions to his claim.

The dossier was written by former British MI6 agent Christopher Steele. Fusion GPS, hired Steele. It was funded by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

Findings eventually made their way to the FBI.

The dossier was published on BuzzFeed News in January 2017.

This leak has proven to be serious. Trey Gowdy said that leaks give people a one sided view of a document.

This leak by “Sneaky Dianne Feinstein.” changes everything. She knows that it is possibly illegal? I’m not happy about this.
