By Kathy Crest:

The rich. The powerful. They have everything imaginable. Nothing is out of reach for them. But what happens when a lavish lifestyle is no longer exciting enough to satisfy them? Wives and husbands begin cheating on one another. As they age, younger prospects become very appealing. But what happens within a person’s mind that makes him or her look at a child as that “prospect”? Pedophilia is not just a practice committed by crazed individuals who get a thrill out of raping a child. It is a world wide epidemic that encompasses people of all ages, all measures of wealth and especially those who are in power.

We have seen the reports on the middle east, where marrying children is common practice, but what we never seem to hear about is the epidemic that is taking place within our own society. Stories come out of Hollywood of child stars who face abuse in order to “make it” on the big screen. Elijah Wood, an actor and producer, is quoted as saying, “It was all organized.” “There are a lot of vipers in this industry, people who only have their own interests in mind. There is darkness in the underbelly. “What bums me about these situations is that the victims can’t speak as loudly as the people in power,” Mr. Wood continued. “That’s the tragedy of attempting to reveal what is happening to innocent people: They can be squashed, but their lives have been irreparably damaged.” Corey Feldman, who started his acting career at age 3, has openly spoke to reporters about his experiences as a child star, and claims that Corey Haim committed suicide because he couldn’t deal with the horrors of what he had to endure in becoming a star. These are just a few who have dared to come forth with these accusations, but why do the accusations always end there? Why do we never hear of arrests in these cases? Who protects these people who destroy innocent lives?

Justin Bieber, who began a singing career at age 14, just came out with a breathtaking announcement. He said he was leaving the music industry because it was lead by the worst of people, “PEDOPHILES”. His story was so incredible that it was hard to even grasp. He talked about being invited to a party that was attended by the “who’s who” of the industry, including top financiers from around the world. During the party he saw a young boy brought in whom he said was obviously drugged. Bieber was approached and urged to abuse the boy. He refused, but said there were others at the party who did partake. He said he had heard later that the boy had died that night. It was something that haunted him. He had heard of these things happening before, but said he had never been approached until that night. He had heard that these sessions are videotaped, and later used as blackmail against those involved. This night affected Bieber so badly that he had to walk away. But why are these people committing these act being allowed to “walk away”? Again, who protects them?

We have to look at our justice department for answers. Or can we? Back in December of 2016, I came across a YouTube video of James Comey, our former FBI director. In this video, he spoke about his agency’s latest arrest of some 380 pedophiles in what he called a “world wide sting operation.” I turned on the news, but there were no reports on this. It should have been a huge story, but not even Fox News came out with it. Why would the head of the FBI have to come out on a YouTube video, of all things, to announce such a thing?

Two months later, another video emerged. This time the head of the FBI division in southern California was announcing the arrests of almost 500 pedophiles IN CALIFORNIA ALONE. In both these cases, over 80 children and teens had been rescued, and still, not a word on the news. It made no sense to me.

Two months ago, the Deputy Attorney General in California, Raymond Giddy, who happens to be the son of G. Gordon Liddy who was involved in Watergate, was arrested for child pornography. I have yet to see a report on this on the news. According to the Daily Caller, at least eleven mayors have been arrested in connection with some form of pedophilia, ranging from child pornography to physical assault, the youngest child being only 4 years old. These horrific acts seem to get swept under the rug by reporters who are too busy attacking their opposition.

Roman Polanski is another example of a man convicted of pedophilia who held a high position. He was a well known Hollywood producer who sexually assaulted a 13 year old girl, then fled the country after being convicted and is still on the run. During an awards show held in Hollywood, Polanski was nominated for an award and received a standing ovation. This took place AFTER his conviction! How in the world could Hollywood praise a man who had committed such a heinous act?

Jimmie Saville, a pedophile in London, supplied the rich and famous, including royalty, with children for their sexual pleasures. There are so many of these stories yet such little being said and done about them. NBC came out with a report while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State. It was a report on our very own state department and accusations of pedophilia taking place within it. NBC reported that Hillary Clinton put a stop to an investigation that was about to take place into the matter. WHY? We need to expose this epidemic and protect our children from these sexual predators.
