First things first, I don’t understand why celebrities have to be so outspoken on politics, especially when they know it could have a bad impact on their jobs in the long run.

The Democratic presidential primary is shaping up to be nothing but a circus and everyone knows, you can’t have a circus without any clowns.

Actor George Clooney told the Hollywood based outlet Variety, a few weeks ago, that he’s sitting out the primaries but will do anything he can in the general election to get rid of Donald Trump.

“I’m going to stay out of the primaries, [but] I’ll fund-raise for anybody that is out there that’s interested in trying to make this president a one-term president.”

So why wouldn’t Clooney get involved during the primaries? He’s following party instructions handed down from Barack Obama. He doesn’t want to cheese off any of his cronies by taking sides and picking a favorite. He is waiting for the dust to clear, then he’ll get squarely behind whoever gets the nomination.

“At this point in the primary… we have to kind of see who ends up being the nominee so that you can really support them in the general and I think that’s a better move.”

Wait, didn’t ole big ears Obama himself say that very same thing? The Democrats have a single goal in 2020, defeat President Donald Trump. Obama crawled out from under his rock to tell the world about the new “winner take all” DNC “unity fund.”

As Obama writes, “… here’s the thing, no matter who our Democratic nominee is, next year is our chance to make sure that our shared values are represented in the Oval Office…”

Everyone knows, President Trump does not share those values one bit. Their scheme is going to take some serious money. If it goes to the wrong candidate, they’re shafted.

As reported by the Hill, all donations to the unity fund will be held for use in the general election and spent on “DNC-led programs.” Two examples are “Organizing Corps 2020” and a spooky “Data Warehouse.” They have blocked all efforts, so far, aimed to stop requirements for ID at the polls, but hilariously, the unity fund will allegedly sponsor “voter protection efforts that are essential to winning in 2020.”

The reason why all the liberal donors are staying out of the primaries is that they don’t want to divide their voter base with party infighting. Picking the wrong candidate to back with cash could turn out to be a very expensive mistake.

Even if the Democrats manage to stay “united,” there is still a wildcard that could wreck their carefully laid plans… a third party challenger.

Clooney, or as some are calling him, “clowney,” goes on to say that the President won by a narrow margin in 2016 and now that narrow margin is gone.

“The narrow edge he took to get there in 2016 has all gone so yes, I do [think he can be beaten],” Clooney said. “We just have to not have third party candidates like Howard Schultz.”

Independents take away votes. Examples Clooney used are when George H. Bush lost because Ross Perot split the Republican ticket, and the way Ralph Nader chilled Al Gore out of the race.

The way most conservative see it, George Clooney is just another clown in the Democrat circus.
