It seems those in the Mainstream Media will stop at nothing to discredit President Trump in the eyes of the American people. On Friday night, thousands of Patriots endured the cold to get a chance to see President Trump address an overflow crowd at the Pensacola Bay Center.
One woman said she had traveled from Alabama to hear the President speak about U.S. Senate Candidate Roy Moore. “Coming out with his support of Roy Moore, I hope he addresses that while he’s here. I want to hear more about what he has to say because I support Roy Moore,” Alicia Myrick said enthusiastically.
With the arena filled to capacity and even more gathered outside, a Washington Post reporter could not help but spin a false report about the number of people gathered to watch President Trump speak about all the exciting things he’s been doing since elected, and the many promises he’s kept.
After a successful rally the night before, Saturday morning, President Trump tweeted – GREAT EVENING last night in Pensacola, Florida. Arena was packed to the rafters, the crowd was loud, loving and really smart. They definitely get what’s going on. Thank you, Pensacola! 6:41 AM – Dec 9, 2017
However, Washington Post reporter Dave Weigel tweeted and later deleted an image of seemingly empty seats, shedding doubt on President Trump’s claim.
Of course, this did not sit well with President Trump. He immediately demanded an apology from Mr. Weigel over the misleading photo of the Florida rally on Friday, a report said.
President Trump tweeted on Saturday, that journalist, Dave Weigel had posted a “phony photo” of an empty arena in Pensacola ahead of his rally.
“Packed house, many people unable to get in. Demand apology & retraction from FAKE NEWS WaPo!” President Trump tweeted. Weigel apologized within a minute in a tweet. “Sure thing, I apologize,”
He then said he deleted the photo after another reporter told him he’d gotten it wrong. President Trump suggested in a follow-up tweet Weigel should be fired. When will those in the Liberal Media learn not to create Fake News, and if they do, President Trump will not remain quiet?
