Although the Customs and Border Protection Agency is fighting off outbreaks of tuberculosis, mumps, and chicken pox, someone is hiding controversial information from the public.
Border Protection agents insist it isn’t them. They swear that they report everything they are supposed to. They want the world to know what they are up against so they can get some help.
CBP reports the data to agencies of the four states along the southwest border.
Those agencies seem to be the ones who are hiding the problem from the public. When word gets out about the full extent of the crisis, it will prove President Donald Trump right, which tends to make liberal heads explode. The leftists are the ones who can’t let the public know there’s anything wrong.
The really hilarious part about the whole thing is that it is the progressives who are blowing the whistle. In a case of what seems to be the left hand not knowing what the left hand is up to, liberal media thought they were catching the CBP ratholing the data. Instead, it looks like it was the progressives in state agencies who hid the ball.
More than 600,000 migrants crossed our border in the first seven months of this year. The goal is to process them out of detention in under 72 hours but many are in for a much longer stay. So they can be medically treated.
Border protection agents have “seen everything” from mumps, chicken pox, and flu, to tuberculosis, they told CNN. Too many people in one place for two long is a recipe for disaster. Overcrowded facilities encourage the spread of infectious agents,” Dr. William Schaffner explains. He works with Atlanta’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. All the more reason to get more funding to address the “crisis” on the border.
Progressive reporters at CNN were convinced that Border Protection agents were hiding statistics about migrant deaths from disease, so they called them out about it. “What are they scared of?” asked Dr. Paul Spiegel, a former senior official at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees

They didn’t like what the border agents had to say in reply. They aren’t scared of anything. “We do share this information. We’re not hiding it,” the unnamed official who was interviewed insists. “We do share that information and record and coordinate through the established public health channels.” All CNN can say to that is “a review of state health department websites indicates that disease data on migrants is not available to the public.”
Oops, they weren’t supposed to notice that. Now there will be a hue and cry in mainstream network media about all the scary diseases being brought into the country by migrants, and why the Customs and Border Protection agency’s reports aren’t being properly disbursed to the agencies that really need to see them to keep us all safe. It will be extremely interesting to see how they cover that one.
