Well, it looks as though Nancy Pelosi has a fan in the Congress. While Pelosi rambled on for eight long agonizing hours where you could see people nodding off behind her, apparently Maxine Waters was inspired and thought the speech was the best thing since sliced bread.
It seems as though Pelosi believes DACA recipients are more important than American citizens because you never once heard her mention her concern about the rest of us. Pelosi rambled on about how much they deserve to be here, and it’s wrong to not give into their demands. She even stood up there and used religion as a way to sway those around her. I’m sorry, but even Satan can quote scripture.
We cannot accept the indifference and indignity our Republican colleagues continue to show #Dreamers. Thank you @NancyPelosi for showing us all what it means to be a true public servant and leader. #GoNancyGo https://t.co/Wv0yq8D8wo

Hour after agonizing hour she just kept talking, but the Democrats seemed inspired. She spoke about how WONDERFUL Dreamers are and how this country is better because of them. She even said her grandson wanted to be brown with dark eyes just like his little Latino friend. I’m sorry, but I’m sure the child wasn’t thinking of it the way she portrayed in her endless speech.

Once the rambling speech came to an end, Maxine Waters announced it as one of the most profound moments in the history of Congress. OMG, I always knew Waters was crazy, but this takes the cake.
Then Waters went on to say, “We’ve had the opportunity to yield time to Leader Pelosi, and while she certainly came in to oppose this bill that we have before us, having yielded one minute to the leader is the most profound one minute probably in the history of this institution.”
Just seeing all of these #GoNancyGo messages. Truly very moving. But let’s not lose focus of who really matters here. Thank you to our #Dreamers. And thank you to your parents for allowing us all the pleasure of having you be a part of our American family every day. #DREAMActNow

“That one minute that ended up eight hours where Leader Pelosi talked about the plight of DACA and the Dreamers,” she added. “And I’m very proud in that yielding that one minute we had the opportunity to listen to Leader Pelosi deal with an issue and demand that we have an opportunity to have a real debate and a real discussion in the People’s House.” I was going to put a picture of Rep Waters here, but I thought I’d spare you. (Snicker…)
With Pelosi being the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, she possesses the so-called leadership-minute as does Speaker Paul Ryan. This allows them the right to deliver longer speeches.
