On Wednesday President Donald Trump accused political opponents of “judge shopping” in their effort to block some of his signature executive orders and vowed to take his case to the Supreme Court. This came after a federal judge blocked his attempt to cut off sanctuary city funding.
The ruling, and the one suspending his ban on travel from certain majority-Muslim countries, both involved federal judges in California.
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, based in San Francisco, which is notoriously liberal, in February upheld a Hawaii judge’s ruling against the Trump’s travel ban.
A District Court judge also stationed in northern California said that the Trump administration couldn’t threaten to take away funding from cities that have policies favorable to illegal immigrants.
Does this new ruling lead to the Ninth Court of Appeals? Why yes, it does.
It looks like all roads lead to the ninth.
First the Ninth Circuit rules against the ban & now it hits again on sanctuary cities-both ridiculous rulings. See you in the Supreme Court!

Out of our very big country, with many choices, does everyone notice that both the “ban” case and now the “sanctuary” case is brought in …

…the Ninth Circuit, which has a terrible record of being overturned (close to 80%). They used to call this “judge shopping!” Messy system.

If judges can take away a president’s power, why did they not stop former President Obama’s rather controversial orders?
Have the Democrats taken away the rights of the people? It looks that way because President Trump is a president of the people doing the will of the people.
It’s on to the Supreme Court now. The fact that Gorsuch is there should help.
I’m angry now. I hope President Trump gets to replace another Supreme Court Justice really soon.
