In cities like Chicago we see an uptick in gang violence. Just about every weekend in Chicago there’s at least 30 people shot and around 10 people killed. This is indeed an epidemic of violence as well as a public health crisis. The sad thing is it seems no one has an answer relative to solving or reducing the murder rate in Chicago.
I’m of the opinion one of the answers to gang violence in Chicago’s poor black neighborhoods is for the men in those neighborhoods to put down the guns and pick up a job application. Change must come from within before ones circumstances change.
Black men in poor neighborhoods must return back to the blueprint of their great grandfathers. That blueprint was one of church, work, and family. The main problem among African-American men around the country is most have unconsciously adopted a LIBERAL mentality that isn’t conducive to stable moral values.
There’s no doubt the “LIBERAL AGENDA” of free love and drug use of the 1970’s and Welfare of the 1980’s destroyed the black community. When African-Americans were conservative, they had better communities. When African-Americans became indoctrinated with the ideology and philosophy of liberalism is when African-American families begin to deteriorate.
The success of Black Wall Street (Tulsa, Oklahoma) where there were African-American attorneys, dentists, real estate agents, medical doctors, consultants, and entrepreneurs was because of conservatism, discipline, and hard work.
The success of Chicago’s black neighborhood known as Bronzeville “The Black Metropolis” from the 1920’s to the 1950’s. Bronzeville was known for fine dining, clubs for blues and jazz, as well as other prominent businesses: Provident Hospital, the Wabash YMCA, Regal Theater, Binga Bank, and Overton Hygienic Company to name a few. Bronzeville thrived because of conservatism, discipline and hard work!
The success of the “Pullman Porters” was also do to hard work, discipline and conservatism. African-Americans are at their best when they are practicing the moral principles of hard work, discipline and conservatism.
When African-Americans return back to conservatism we’ll see a reduction in gang violence, single family homes, dysfunctional neighborhoods, and abortion (over 100,000 African-American babies are aborted each year).
The answer to the ills of the African-American community as a whole is a return to family, utility in work, education, moral standards, marriage, church and conservatism!
