by Joshua Krishnamoorthi:
The terrorist Hafiz Saeed on Friday, December 8, 2017 made his first public appearance when freed from house arrest and then led a rally in Lahore, Pakistan to launch a country-wide campaign against the US President’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol with the Pakistan authorities as mere observers of the rally.
Hafiz Saeed has been designated a global terrorist and the US declared a bounty of $10M for him. He was released by Pakistan authorities and now is moving freely in Pakistan. The Pakistan government failed to file any charges so far against him. Both the Pakistan government and its military at that time indicated that they were serious about cracking down on Saeed’s network.
Saeed said to the Defense Council:
Pakistan will send its delegations to Muslim countries and convince them not to open their embassies in Jerusalem. He led the rally outside the JuD headquarters in Chauburji after the Friday prayers. He said Muslim countries should unite against the US even though there were severe warnings from the US recently. Pakistan’s inaction creates doubt around the world.
Should President Trump’s administration take note of this?
