“When somebody says like the person you just mentioned who I’m not going to advertise for, that he’s going to bring all these jobs back. Well, how exactly are you going to do that? What are you going to do? There’s uh-uh no answer to it. He just says. “I’m going to negotiate a better deal.” Well, how? How exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have? And usually, the answer is, he doesn’t have an answer.” These are the words said by former President Obama in response to a comment made by President Trump about how he would make the environment more welcoming for businesses to return to the USA.
Well, it looks like Obama should have been more careful before he shot off his mouth about something he apparently never understood. For all his swagger and delusions of grandeur, Obama is no businessman. As President, he was in WAY over his head when it came to working deals that would benefit the American worker. However, Obama hasn’t been the only one claiming President Trump would be the death of the American economy. His lackeys in the MSM have also made endless claims of doom and gloom with a Trump Presidency.
Let’s take a little look at what’s happened since President Trump took control of the White House.
- Latino Unemployment Hits Record Low
What that means is that the unemployment rate for Latinos is the lowest … ever … in the 45-year history of government tracking. What that means is the Latino unemployment rate is a measly 4.7 percent.
- Black Unemployment Rate Hits 17-Year Low
At 7.3 percent, the black unemployment rate still needs to improve, but not since hitting 7 percent in 2000 have things looked this good, most especially after nearly two decades of double-digit unemployment.
- Real Economic Growth
After an unexpectedly high growth rate of 3.3 percent in the third quarter of 2017 (and that’s with two devastating hurricanes), projections for the fourth quarter have edged into the magic number of 4 percent. The Democrats never saw that coming, did they?
- Soaring Economic Optimism
Optimism in the American economy has led to investor confidence and consumer spending, which, in turn, drives all the creation of manufacturing and shipping of products needed to fill those needs. This, in turn, gives us better times ahead. For the first time in more than a decade, a majority of Americans see our economy as either good or excellent. A near record of 41 percent believe 2018 will see an even better economy and a rise in the value of their homes; 42 percent believe their wages will increase.
- A Soaring Stock Market
With millions of working, middle-class Americans invested in the stock market through various retirement accounts, every announcement of a new record only adds to the wealth of those hard-working Americans.
While pushing long overdue corporate and income taxes through Congress, and using whatever authority he could to unilaterally cut red tape and the power of the bully pulpit to sell America and the American worker to the world, the Trump wave is crushing records in ways the experts claimed were NEVER possible.
- Unemployment Rate Hits 17-Year Low
America now enjoys an unemployment rate of just 4.1 percent, the lowest since 2000.
- Manufacturing Jobs Boom
In the final year of the Obama presidency, America lost a net of 16,000 manufacturing jobs to add to the millions lost during his eight-year term.
With the massive tax cuts signed into law by President Trump before he left for his Christmas break in Florida, hopes for a prosperous 2018 and fears of the stock market gains becoming a bubble are no longer a concern.
Additionally, these tax cuts also killed the onerous Obamacare mandate, which brutalized those making less than $50,000 a year. Other treats in the tax bill include incentives for corporations to repatriate trillions of dollars stashed overseas to avoid America’s unnecessarily high tax rates.
Moreover, finally, after decades of being blocked for no good reason, this tax bill ends the ridiculous ban on oil drilling in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), which is said will create any number of solid manufacturing jobs in an area in desperate need of them.
Hopefully, this will turn into the kind of job growth this country has needed after coming out of 2008 Great Recession. However, we had Obama and his affection for socialism, wealth distribution, and central government control which smothered any chance for growth.
We, as a nation, are entering a new era where the needs of the American citizen and taxpayer are at the forefront of what our government does for the first time in years. The crushing boot of government has been lifted off the throats of the American worker. We struggled for 8 years under the Obama Administration and his lackluster leadership. However, we now have President Trump at the helm so we once again have hope for prosperity and freedom. After years of a crumbling economy, Jimmy Carter gave us President Ronald Reagan. It took Obama and his Fundamental Transformation of this great nation to give us President Donald Trump. With the strong leadership of President Trump, we will once again be that Shining City on a Hill.
Merry Christmas and God Bless the USA
