In a video published by Defector (who said it got it from an unnamed “tipster”), in what has become a regular occurrence at US sporting events, the pair started mocking the pregame flyover of four A-10 Thunderbolts.
- Aikman: “That’s a lot of jet fuel just to do a little flyover,”
- Buck smugly responded: “That’s your hard-earned money and your tax dollars at work,”
- Aikman took it to another level by whining: “That stuff ain’t happening with the Kamala-Biden ticket, I’ll tell you that right now, partner,”
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman Caught Telling America What They REALLY Think

Of course, if they had known they were on the air I can guarantee you they were be singling the military praises and calling the flyover ‘A magnificent site” followed by a plethora of accolades.
American’s everywhere were irate at the slight against our military personnel and veterans. Users also pointed out that these flyovers are being used for more than just eye candy.
Having lived in Yorktown, Virginia, I can attest to the fact that there must be at least 20-25 flyovers every single day of F-16s, F-22s, and F-35s.
I’ve also seen from time to time Air Force One and a multitude of other military aircraft doing training runs.
Aikman? Really? Guess he forgot all the flyovers from 2008- 20016.

So Biden will get rid of military flyovers? Troy Aikman has really had too many concussions. Holy shit.

Another example of the NFL and it’s reps tripping over themselves to exclude the majority of their fan base.@TroyAikman might have had one too many concussions

Macdill AFB is within a few miles of the stadium. Air Force and Army use shorties like this on a daily basis as part training and fight time which is done by fly over or no fly over.

Just to add to their hypocrisy, some users pointed out that somehow you won’t hear Joe Buck and Troy Aikman whining about the hundreds of millions of tax dollars being spent on these new billion-dollar stadiums, or the tax breaks the team receives for a stadium that will host perhaps a dozen games a year.
I hope these flyovers keep happening. Increase ‘em! Training for pilots (instead of flying over training areas) and patriotic, unifying event for citizens of all types. BTW a lot of taxpayer dollars go towards these stadiums too.
