All of the giant social media platforms have been criticized relentlessly, for the censorship war they are waging against American conservatives. They use every means at their disposal to tilt the playing field as far left as they possibly can.
Google and Facebook allegedly weight their algorithms to “shadow ban” conservative news and information, by burying the results underneath deep layers of liberal decoys. Twitter has been accused of using their policies to ban anyone they aren’t happy with.
Word around the more conservative water coolers today is speculation that Twitter has President Donald Trump’s account under a microscope. If progressive Twitter monitors can’t jump out from behind a bush to catch Trump doing something wrong directly, then they’ll take a hard look at flagging anything the president might take an interest in.
Shortly after President Trump shared a meme on his account, the poster was history.
A simple image claiming “Democrats are the enemies of America,” underneath the text “Democrats are the only ones interfering in our elections. Why do you think they so strongly oppose voter ID?”
Roughly 99.99 percent of conservatives would wholeheartedly agree with that statement. Because that meme would resonate so effectively, liberals get immediately terrified. Luckily for them, the owner of the account, listed as “Lynn Thomas,” gave Twitter more than enough grounds for the platform to shut the account down totally.
Nobody is suggesting that President Trump took any particular interest in that account beyond sharing the single post, but a quick visit while it was still active would show the posts were on the far-right fringes of conspiracy.
CNN elaborately describes the “Qanon conspiracy memes and bizarre theories about prominent Democrats murdering children to harvest their pineal glands.” Of course they had the stories that “targeted Bill and Hillary Clinton, claiming they ‘torture and sacrifice children’ to get at ‘a drug that can only be found inside the human skull.'”
That isn’t quite enough to get you banned, but the Twitter gestapo found a better reason. Lynn Thomas must have been using more than one account.
According to Twitter, “the account was suspended for violating the Twitter rule that bars users from using multiple accounts to artificially amplify or disrupt conversations.”
Twitter is just waiting for President Trump to make a mistake. Company officials recently notified the White House it will slap “warning labels” on tweets from public figures that violate its rules, especially Trump.
The president mentioned this new incident on C-SPAN and has no regrets for sharing the meme. Referring to the “tens of thousands of tweets” he has personally sent, he doesn’t have “much regret.” As for the things he re-posts, he admits it can cause problems.

“The bigger problem are the retweets. You’ll retweet something that sounds good, but it turned out to be from a player that’s not the best player in the world, that sort of causes a problem.”
Still, he says, It’s “an incredible way of communicating.”
