According to BizPacReview’s political analyst Samantha Chang, “Speaker Nancy Pelosi — the leader of the Democratic Party — proved once again that Democrats are not negotiating in good faith to fix the longstanding immigration crisis.”
Friday night, Pelosi reached out to President Donald Trump and begged him to call off the scheduled deportation raids. In exchange, Pelosi promised to sit down at the negotiating table — prepared to give a little ground. At least enough to plug some of the more serious holes in our border.
At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border. If not, Deportations start!

Trump made the deal public by posting it on Twitter. He granted an extra “two weeks” for “Democrats and Republicans” to “get together and work out a solution to the asylum and loophole problems at the southern border.”Trump indicated his expectations weren’t all that high. “If not, deportations start!”
Even the president’s supporters “argued that the Democrats are not negotiating in good faith, so he shouldn’t give them any leeway,” BPR notes.
After he called them off, Pelosi still kept calling the deportation plan “heartless.”
Claiming that she couldn’t trust Trump not to break his word, Pelosi made a preemptive strike and broke hers.
“Democrats aren’t going to compromise their values,” a Pelosi aide advised CNN. “He’s walked away from several deals on immigration. We have no illusions here.”
That’s their excuse for walking away from their promised “give and take” at the bargaining table. By Sunday evening, Pelosi had her deal in final, take it or leave it.
The Democrats wrote a supplemental bill to spend $4.5 billion. Not a single dime is allocated to the border wall that millions of Americans are begging for. They go so far as specifically adding language against it.
“The supplemental also contains important oversight provisions to hold the administration accountable and to protect the rights and dignity of migrants, including: No funding for a border wall or barriers, or for ICE detention beds.”
Instead they set up resorts for illegal aliens.
“This legislation provides urgently-needed humanitarian assistance for families, including funding for food, shelter, clothing, medical care and legal assistance.”
They don’t want to seal the border or eliminate incentives for a mass invasion of border jumpers. Pelosi has no explanation how they “will relieve the horrific situation of over-crowding.”
Instead, Pelosi wants to subsidize sanctuary through “urgent assistance to local communities to help defray their costs of providing humanitarian assistance to asylum seekers.”
Maybe Nancy Pelosi needs to take a walk down one of the streets in her own district, where homelessness is rampant. Many of her constituents would love to live in the splendor she provides lawbreakers.
