Immigration raids that will targets thousands of illegal immigrants in cities across the America are scheduled to begin on Sunday.
All we can say is… It’s About Time
Two weeks ago President Trump delayed the raids on illegal immigrants who had been ordered to leave the country in hopes that the Democrats would step up to the table.
They, of course, didn’t.
And as he’s always done, the President kept his promise to the American people.
On Sunday The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will target families who have had their day in court and had been ordered deported.
They’ll be carried out over several days and will be executed by ICE agents. The New York Times reported, citing unnamed officials with knowledge of the plan.
The raids will also include “collateral” deportations, according to the report, where immigrants who were not targeted by the authorities but are at the scene will be detained.
ICE will target at least 2,000 immigrants in at least 10 US cities
Families who are detained in the raids will be held in detention centers in Texas and Pennsylvania, but some may end up staying in hotel rooms until travel arrangements out of the country are finalized, according to the Times report.
Promise Made… Promise Kept
In late June, President Trump said he would delay his plan to round up the 2,000 illegal immigrants for two weeks.
“At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks,” he tweeted on June 22.
President Trump said:
The pause will give time “to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border,” Trump continued.
“If not, Deportations start!”

Earlier that day, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged Trump to cancel his plan to have Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers arrest and deport illegal immigrants from 10 cities including New York, Chicago, Baltimore, Houston, Miami and Los Angeles.

“Families belong together,” Pelosi said in a statement. “These families are hard-working members of our communities and our country.”
No Nancy. they are not members of our country… Hence the reason why they are being deported.
Many of these illegal aliens about to be round-up had their day in court, and could not prove they deserve to stay here.
