By Kathy Crest:
Fox News has just reported that Hillary Clinton is under congressional investigation for her involvement in the Uranium One deal.
Here we go again. But this time, Hillary has no friends in high places. Americans have been demanding answers for years, and that day just might be coming.
An FBI informant who was involved in the uranium deal, who has been blocked from speaking because of a gag order placed against him during the Obama administration, just might get approval by congress to tell his story. He claims to know much about the deal and could shed much light on the accusations of bribery, pay to play, and espionage.
According to Fox News, the House Oversight committee has started investigating an Obama-era deal in which a Russian-backed company bought a uranium firm with mines in the U.S. … The uranium agreement was reached while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state. Some investors in the Russian-backed company, Uranium One, had relationships with former President Bill Clinton and donated to the Clinton Foundation. When asked on “Fox News Sunday” if a criminal investigation would be coming, Rep. Ron DeSantis, a member of the House Oversight Committee, responded: “It could be criminal.” He cited statutes of limitations that may limit prosecutions of any crimes that may arise from the 2010 deal.
The Clinton Foundation profited $146 million dollars from the uranium deal that gave Russia control of one fifth of our uranium. The FBI was complacent in allowing the deal to go through, even though they had been investigating it for corruption. This could prove to be the biggest political scandal of modern times, and hopefully the statute of limitations law will not apply here.
Americans have listened to the media’s cries of “Russia, Russia, Russia, for over a year, and now we know why. They have been working overtime to cover up a story that involves their much beloved Democrats. It has become more and more obvious that our news reporters are no longer trustworthy in their delivery of the news, and choose to take sides in a political agenda. Money is truly the root of all evil, and when that evil is exposed, the guilty parties often lash out.
The main stream media is already trying to put their spin on the real Russian story, calling it a ‘non-story” and saying there is no “there-there”. Time will tell. The biggest problem Republicans face is Robert Mueller, who is head of the investigation of the year long Russian collusion case surrounding Donald Trump. Mueller was involved in the Uranium One deal. According to InfoWars: Mueller’s involvement in the Clintons’ drive to profit from selling 20 percent of U.S. uranium to Vladimir Putin’s Russian government should properly make him the target of a Department of Justice grand jury convened to examine the Clintons’ involvement with Uranium One, thereby disqualifying him from serving as Special Counsel appointed to examine the “no evidence” Democratic meme that the Trump campaign “colluded” with Russia to steal the election from Hillary Clinton.
The truth will come out, but who believes the truth will remain to be seen. Our country has become so divided that there seems to be no reasoning between sides. This case, if allowed to proceed, will drag on for years, possibly decades, and many of the players will most likely die before they ever see justice. I just ask that our congress members and judicial courts get to the bottom of both these cases and allow this country to move on.
