For those of you who don’t understand the problem that Obamacare created, try sitting in an Emergency Room one day and see what has been created. We have people who come for minor things like ear aches and skin rashes only to take the staff away from things like heart attacks and strokes.
While you are waiting at home for an ambulance because Mom has fallen, they are busy picking up the person who hasn’t been to the bathroom in 3 days. Don’t get offended when the Doctor asks you, so what brought you here today. Because they want to know why you didn’t take this ‘problem’ to someone earlier instead of making it an ’emergency’?
Obamacare has created people who share no responsibility for their health care. It’s all FREE. People who have insurance that they pay for have to make choices. Do I go to the ER and pay $250 or do I go to the Urgent Care and pay $25? I am not a rocket scientist but I can do math.
Imagine you are treating a patient that has Federal Funded insurance and they have the latest cell phone, the latest tennis shoe and enough ink to pay the average mortgage for several months. You are listening to them describe the minor medical issue that clearly could have waited for the primary care doctor. The patient doesn’t care because he is NOT responsible in any way.
While the health care professional is saving lives in one room, in the next room they are telling the patient that they have a stomach bug that needs to wait it out. Don’t get me wrong we all think that our problems are the biggest of all but a lot of the problem with this society is responsibility.
Back in the day, I remember the only people who had Medicaid were children and pregnant women, now everyone has it. Its advantageous for some to stay home and collect benefits because they have no skill level and we have made it too easy. Gone are the days that people want to earn their way, they are from generational welfare families and have no ambition or desire to do better.
