by Daveda Gruber:
On Monday night a Washington, D.C. group of radical protesters shouted down Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and his wife in a restaurant. The couple left the restaurant early during chanting from protesters in the restaurant.
The protesters approached the senator and his wife. Heidi in Fiola, an Italian restaurant located close to the U.S. Capitol. They shouted questions at the senator about his stance on the Brett Kavanaugh issue and if he believed the women who had made the accusations.
The group made the Cruz and his wife, Heidi uncomfortable while chanting about standing with survivors and putting Brett Kavanaugh down. The video on the Twitter feeds show what happened.

The group’s Facebook page states that it is “united” in the fight against the “Nazis, Ku Klux Klan.”
The post from Facebook:
A group of protesters approached Cruz and his wife at a restaurant table, repeatedly shouting, “We believe survivors!”
A woman off camera says, “Hi, I’d love to talk to you about Brett Kavanaugh tonight. I’m a constituent, love to know what your vote is gonna be tonight. I know that you’re very close friends with Mr. Kavanaugh. Do you believe survivors?”
She goes on to say, “Senator, I have a right to know what your position is on Brett Kavanaugh.”
Cruz says, “God bless you, ma’am.”
The woman responded, “Bless you as well, I really appreciate you. I’m a survivor of sexual assault. I believe all survivors. There are now three people who have come forward and who have said that Brett Kavanaugh has attacked them. I know that you’re close friends with him. Could you talk to him about that? Could you talk to him about his position?”
Cruz then gets up and heads for the exit with his wife.
The woman asks, “How are you gonna vote, sir?”
In the next video, the protesters continue shouting, “We believe survivors!”
Cruz is seen struggling to get through the crowd with his wife.
One protester yells off camera. “Beto’s way hotter than you, dude!” This is in reference to Democratic congressman Beto O’Rourke. He is Cruz’s challenger for his U.S. Senate seat.
Cruz says to the intimidating crowd, “Excuse me, let my wife through.”
A woman shouts, “Are you going to confirm your best friend Kavanaugh?”
Someone else shouts, “Sexist, racist, anti-gay!”
When Cruz leaves the restaurant, the protesters cheer but a restaurant worker appears and tells the group to leave.
Cruz has pushed for Christine Blasey Ford, one of Kavanaugh’s accusers, to testify in public.
Cruz said in a statement, “These allegations are serious and deserve to be treated with respect. Professor Ford should have a full opportunity to tell her story before the Judiciary Committee, and Judge Kavanaugh should have a full opportunity to defend himself. That hearing should be sooner, rather than later, so the committee can make the best assessment possible of the allegations.”
Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., has encouraged her supporters to fight back against the Trump administration. She said at the time current administration officials who defend Trump “know what they’re doing is wrong” and said they soon won’t be able to peacefully appear in public without being harassed. Later she was silent on those remarks.
‘Mad-Max’ is not done yet, though. She continues to make herself look pretty stupid.
I am so sick of people who will not let Republicans and their families have a dinner without being harassed.
The situation could have been changed if the restaurant owner would have thrown the crazy Dems out of the restaurant before the Cruz’s left and let Mr. and Mrs. Cruz eat dinner in peace.
