You know those reprehensible people who say “This is a terrible thing to say” and then say it… Well, that’s CNN Sports Analysis Christine Brennan talking about Kobe Bryant’s Tragic Passing.
During CNN’s coverage of the death of former NBA star Kobe Bryant and his 13- year-old daughter Gianna, who were both killed Sunday morning, along with seven others in a helicopter crash near Malibu, CA., network sports analyst Christine Brennan brought up Kobe Bryant’s alleged rape allegation.
After spending over four-minutes praising Kobe Bryant for being not only a great player but a great person, Brennan just had to go there.
Brennan noted the spotlight Bryant faced as a professional basketball player in Los Angeles for the NBA’s Lakers but instead of just saying ‘he faced his share of controversy” and leaving it at that… Christine Brennan went with the more revolting approach saying:
“And, of course, there are issues, while it seems difficult to mention at the moment of his death that we’re talking about the sexual assault allegations, the trial — that was a terrible moment, and that was not good, obviously. I’m not going to sugar-coat that at all.”
Yes, moron, you do sugar-coat it, especially when loved ones are still coming to grips with the loss of Kobe and his 13-year-old daughter which happened less than two hours before.
