Local officials warned of powerful winds on Thursday that will feed wildfires raging in Los Angeles threatening multi million dollar mansions with blazes that have already forced more than 2,00,000 people to flee. The first time authorities issued “purple” alert, a extreme danger, warning that winds could reach 128km an hour, severely limiting fire-fighting efforts.
The Cal Fire, the agency responsible for fire protection in the state has given alert signal “Stay alert and prepared for evacuations . If you feel unsafe, evacuate”. This is the currently largest fire broke out in the state leaving at least one person dead.Due to strong wind blowing from the northeast to the southeast, more than 230,000 people had been forced from their homes in Los Angles and Ventura countries.
