Thousand Oaks, CA — An active shooter reportedly prompted an evacuation Saturday at a popular southern California mall. The incident was reported around 2:30 p.m. at The Oaks at 350 W Hillcrest Drive, according to initial reports.
ABC7 reported sheriff’s deputies were searching for a suspect described as an adult male wearing a dark jacket and tan pants.

Numerous customers and employees tweeted they were being evacuated from the mall, and others should stay away. Some also tweeted they were locked in stores. Thousand Oaks is about 40 miles from the city of Los Angeles.
According to reports, there are two injured, a man and a woman.
