There is no information whether the identity of the man who was previously reported or the man who was previously identified as a person of interest is under investigation. The police also keeps undercover the identity of the man of interest who is suspected.
What is known to the public is that Stephen Paddock was responsible for the mass incident but besides him there is still one person responsible whose identity is still publicly unknown.
The court of Nevada, on Tuesday also unsealed hundreds of pages of search warrants including an affidavit filed less than a week after the shooting that identifies the gunman’s longtime girlfriend as a person of interest. The authorities informed that the girlfriend whose name is Marilou Danley, and she isn’t a suspect while she continues cooperating with the police and the local officials.
Douglas Haig was also another person of interest but he wasn’t available for comments.
A Douglas Haig in Mesa, Ariz., who is an engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, also operated a company called Specialized Military Ammunition, a limited liability corporation his wife opened in 2012. In October, Mr. Haig told Newsweek that he had been interviewed by agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
He said that he did know Mr. Paddock and had not sold ammunition “for a long time.” On Tuesday, a website for the company noted “We Will Be Closed Indefinitely. Check back to see if/when we are up and running again.”
